Are we allowed to bring our own food and beverages?

No, the Club strictly does not permit BYO (bring-your-own) food or beverages of any type.

Do we have to make a booking at the brasserie and/or for lawn bowling?

It is best to make a booking with us for either lawn bowling or restaurant as we sometimes get booked out. You may walk in but we cannot guarantee accommodation if it is busy. Please note that we may require a minimal deposit for groups of 20-30 people.


Restaurant

We are celebrating a special occasion at the restaurant; do you have cakes available or are we allowed to bring in our own?

We do not have whole cakes available at the Club. You are permitted to bring in one (1) celebratory cake and a mandatory Cake Fee of $2 per person applies. In addition, we also provide cutlery, serviettes and side plates. If you wish to store your cake in our cool room, we are able to do so if there is space available. We cannot guarantee this, however, so it is best to call and ask one of our Staff or the Duty Manager beforehand.

Are we allowed to bring in cupcakes instead of a cake?

No, the Club does not allow cupcakes to be brought in or consumed in the Club.

Do you cater for special dietary requirements?

We have vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free items on our menu. If you have other dietary requirements, such as food-specific allergies, please inform our Staff and we will do our best to cater to the request. In addition, we cannot guarantee that our food is Halal-certified and we do not take requests for this.

How many people play per lane?

There are normally 8 people per lane, 4 people per team. This may be adjusted depending on the number of people playing in your group, so odd numbers may occur.

Can I reserve a certain number of lanes for my group?

No, we will only allocate the appropriate number of lanes based on your number of attendees, or depending on availability.

Do you require a deposit or advanced payment for bowling bookings?

We require a minimal deposit only for groups with at least 20 people. Booking Deposits are deducted from the final amount owing on the day itself.


Children

Are children welcome in the Club?

Yes, children are welcome in the Club for as long as they are supervised by their parents or guardians at all times; running around the Club is not permitted. As per NSW Club Law, children are not allowed at the bar area. Please ensure any toys and belongings do not obstruct or disrupt other patrons and must be tidied up responsibly. Our Staff have the right to point out any unruly behaviour to keep the Club pleasant for all patrons and to prevent any accidents or injuries.

Do you have lawn bowling for kids?

Yes, we have kids' bowls available for ages 12 and below at $6 per child per 1-hour session. We provide the appropriate Children's Lawn Bowling set. Please ensure they have parent or guardian supervision to prevent any accidents or injuries.


Functions and Events

How do we make a booking for a function or event at the Club?

Go to our Contact page to fill out our Enquiry Form - provide as much details as possible such as date/s, timing, number of attendees, type of event, agenda, etc. and we will respond with the appropriate details as soon as possible. For Christmas Parties, please check our Christmas Packages page for further information. To confirm/secure your booking, we may require you to complete a Booking Form and pay a deposit.

Do you have a private room we can hire for our group to use?

No, we do not have a private (closed-off) room for hire. Our restaurant also serves as our function room, where the bar is located and with access to the bar, balcony and use of a TV or projector. A room hire fee or minimum spend policy may apply.

How many people can the Club accommodate?

Our restaurant serves as our function room which can hold approximately 100 people seated or 200 people standing for cocktail style. We have two large bowling greens that can hold up to about 128 people simultaneously playing.


Wet Weather

Light Showers

The greens will not be closed and you may still bowl based on your discretion. Otherwise, we will allocate some space for you inside the Club.

Heavy Rain

We are happy to allocate some space for you inside the Club so you can still enjoy the Club facilities along with any pre-ordered food. As an alternative option, we have some indoor activities that you may use such as a coin-operated pool table and a trivia box. You are welcome to prepare or bring your own indoor activity with the affirmative permission of the Manager or Duty Manager.

You can choose to postpone your booking to another available date (deposit and orders will be transferred over), or you can cancel your booking (cancellation fees may apply).
